Big Bubba's Big Blog

Big Bubba's Internet refuge after being barred for life from David Horowitz's Front Page Magazine for reckless use of the word feckless. No, I don't know why mindless twits find the word so objectionable. A Voice From Deep Within Flyover America

This Just In From Matt Drudge

Janet Meiers is toast. She's never going to make it. Drudge is reporting that Meiers is a born again Christian. Aren't they disenfranchised because they are known to have constant thoughts of "What would Jesus Do?" She has been labeled an Evangelical Christian. The conventional wisdom of the Godless pseudo intellectual progressive liberal demoracists is that Evangelical Christians are the worst kind and a dangerous threat to the new state religion, secular humanism.
What is the world coming to these days? President Bush should have nominated someone more in tune with our modern society like a lesbian Wiccan single parent.

MIERS FOUND CHRIST, TURNED REPUBLICAN

By 1979, Harriet Miers, then in her mid-30s, had accomplished what some people take a lifetime to achieve. She was a partner at Locke Purnell Boren Laney & Neely, one of the most prestigious law firms in the South.

I guess she does have some redeeming qualities after all. My only question would be the extent of her commitment to her faith. If she embraced fire and brimstone, I might support her. But I doubt she see's her "mentor" as lucifer or mephistopholes. Shame really. I'd really like to see someone on the court with the stomache to harpoon and "gut" a Leviathan, then boil off the blubber and send it to homes throughout the land for use as "lamp oil".
