Big Bubba's Free Plug
I love this picture!!
The book sounds like fun,
HELP! MOM! There are LIBERALS Under My Bed! follows the adventures of Tommy and Lou, two regular boys who dream of starting a lemonade stand in order to earn enough to buy a swing set. Their dream goes quite well until liberals like Congresswoman Clunkton, Mayor Leach and Mr. Fussman attempt to tax and regulate their dream away.
"Our hat is off, here, to Katharine DeBrecht, the author of Help! Mom! There Are Liberals Under My Bed."
--Rush Limbaugh
Many of you may remember the Rush Limbaugh above as Mr. Ducky's favorite conservative radio commentator. I rarely listen to the man. Mr. Ducky must listen to Limbaugh very often so I rely on his reports as to what Limbaugh has to say about issues.

This information was in an ad on a web page where I was reading about that paragon of "fair and balanced" reporting, the New York Times. It was also about that world class truth distortionist, Paul Krugman. It seems that the New York Times is having a retraction festival featuring Krugman and his famous truth distortionist stylings.

The RNC ought to donate a copy to every library and classroom in the country.

Farmer John, that brings up another interesting point. A study of what publicly funded libraries are purchasing this book would be fascinating.
Point well taken Samwich.
If I were a "betting man", I might be tempted to wager that "very few" publically (civil) funded entities would purchase this book. Overtly political books are sure to be eschewed and derided as "propaganda", whereas "My Two Daddies" has NO "overt" political agenda and is "perfectly acceptable" reading material for adolescents. Right.

I doubt many libraries would purchase a "Jesus Loves Me" type book either. Separation of Church and State and all that rot.
It seems pretty clear to me that secular religions like liberalism have an enormous advantage in the public sphere.
The best way to counter the left is to follow their lead. I'd write a book called "My Two Daddies II". Only one daddy gets AIDS, the other elects to become a sadist's slave, and so the kids eventually get shipped off to an orphanage cuz mommy smokes crack and is on welfare.
