Big Bubba's Big Blog

Big Bubba's Internet refuge after being barred for life from David Horowitz's Front Page Magazine for reckless use of the word feckless. No, I don't know why mindless twits find the word so objectionable. A Voice From Deep Within Flyover America

GLOBAL BARBARA STREISAND EMERGENCY

WARNING!! Barbara Streisand can be dangerously ignorant trying to impress the imbecile, low grade moron and mindless twit segments of the global populace. This brain dead twit is best rebutted with derisive laughter.

But BB, she even quotes Jefferson! From the mouth of Babs...

"An Important Anniversary ...Barbra Streisand
Posted on August 5, 2005

August 6, 2005 marks the 60th anniversary of the US bombing of Hiroshima. The Atomic Bomb, which decimated the Japanese city and its people, was never used in combat again. This day is also the anniversary of another "bomb" that was dropped 4 years ago, this time into the lap of President Bush in the form of a memo titled 'Bin Laden Determined to Strike in the US.' While on yet another extended vacation at his Crawford ranch, the President chose to neglect his duties as Commander in Chief by refusing to act decisively and immediately on this impending threat, leading to the worst terrorist attack in American history. These anniversaries remind us to learn from our past actions in order to ensure a safer more secure future."

"Dissent is the essential aspect of patriotism"

ps- And Ronald Reagan was responsible for her son getting AIDS. That's why she made the Reagan biography and cast her husband as Reagan.

Speakin' of turnips, the left always hated Reagan because he was the Horowitz of the 1940's. He saw the left for what they were, and and plucked them out of the American garden like root-rotted turnips.

Mr. Ducky, as always you have the deep sympathy of Big Bubba in your futile, losing efforts to swim upstream in the waters of sanity. When you totally lose it may you have many loved ones who will come to visit you and may they never poke sticks through the bars to further disturb you.

The BBC writes about the 2.4 million Americans who voted in a survey.

Dast we say, Duck, that it seems to be a consensus opinion? It certainly seems to be.

Don’t fret Mr. Ducky. Perhaps somewhere there is a parallel universe filled with delusional yankee ducks where Dukakis, Kennedy, and John Forbes Kerry, gravitas extraordinaire, will make it to the presidency of the delusional.

Mr. Ducky, when you say "Damn, we are a sorry......" that would undoubtedly be your people, not mine.

Like it or not, Duck, President Reagan has a legacy and respect right up at the top of all American Presidents. It is also a given that every President that follows William Jefferson "I did not have sex with that woman" Clinton will have a superior legacy to Clinton. That includes, obviously, both President George W. and George H.W. Bush.

My great grandfather was in the 47th Alabama Infantry which spent some time attached to Hood's Texas Brigade. Contact with the warm, wonderful people from Texas probably influenced his move from Alabama to Texas after the War Between the States.

Sing me a Song of Social Significance...by Barbara Streisand

I'm tired of moon-songs of star and of June songs,
They simply make me nap
And ditties romantic drive me nearly frantic
I think they're all full of pap

History's making, nations are quaking
Why sing of stars above
For while we are waiting father time's creating
New things to be singing of

Sing me a song with social significance
All other tunes are taboo
I want a ditty with heat in it,
Appealing with feeling and meat in it!

Sing me a song with social significance
Or you can sing 'til you're blue
Let meaning shine from ev'ry line
Or I won't love you

Sing me of wars and sing me of breadlines
Tell me of front page news
Sing me of strikes and last minute headlines
Dress your observation in syncopation!

Sing me a song with social significance
There's nothing else that will do
It must get hot with what is what
Or I won't love you.

I want a song that's satirical
And putting the mere into miracle
It must be packed with social fact
or I won't love you

Sing me of kings and conf'rences martial
Tell me of mills and mines
Sing me of courts that aren't impartial
What's to be done with 'em tell me in rhythm

Sing me a song with social significance
there's nothing else that will do
It must be tense with common sense
or I won't love you.
