Big Bubba's Internet refuge after being barred for life from David Horowitz's Front Page Magazine for reckless use of the word feckless. No, I don't know why mindless twits find the word so objectionable. A Voice From Deep Within Flyover America

BB,
You might be interested in knowing that the National Philanthropy Index shows the Bible Belt states being the most generous in the country in terms of giving, whilst the New Englanders give the least. Could it be the New Englanders expect the government to take care of the poor?

Here's the "source data" in case you're interested.

Nope, he drew 27%. Not bad considering he was a last minute replacement on the ballot after Seven-of-Nine outted her promiscuous hubby Jack Ryan right before the election. And Keyes was an "out-of-stater" to boot.
In '88 he ran against incumbent Senator Paul Sarbanes in his home state of MD and polled a respectable 38% as a relatively "unknown" political entity. He was one of the "pathfinders" for the GOP 's latest "golden" boy, Michael Steele, who is likely to replace Sarbanes in 2006 as many blacks in Maryland have been "disenfranchised" by the DNC there.
And in the Presidential race in '96, Keyes drew many grassroots conservatives away from the namby-pamby RNC RINO's like McCain. What he needs is to be "paired" with someone who's relatively conservative to moderate that has good name recognition.
And I have my doubts as to whether Randi Rhodes could hold a candle to Keyes. I once saw him debate Simpson lawyer Alan Dershowitz... and made him look like an illiterate janitor without any conception of the law... for when asked the moral basis upon which Dershowitz would predicate "law" and "justice", Dershowitz could only reply that he would "know it if he saw it" and that Dershowitz's "feelings" were the only moral compass the nation needed. That from the one lawyer who actually wrote a book outlining the need to legalize torture.

Farmer, I saw the charitable giving story this morning on TV. I then looked up the story on the internet. New Englanders give most of their money to the secular humanist religious organizations and not Judeo-Christian charities.
I always liked The Flying Deuces. Sons of the Desert is also good.
You do know the graphic is Kennedy and Kerry, don't you?
Do you mean to imply that Tom DeLay was "in" on the "Indian Gaming Caper"?
Last time I checked, most crooks typically copped pleas on the charges they were facing, not "other" crimes... for what would would they gain by openning themselves up to "new" charges? It has happened though, so maybe there's a snowball's chance.
Hmmm, I wonder if the Barrett Report will ever see the light of day....

Al Capone could bring more honesty to the White House compared to William Jefferson Clinton's documented sleeze and squeeze ways.
Twenty million dollars and or twenty years later why shouldn't the people be allowed to see the report? Substitute appropriate names with George Bush, Tom DeLay, et al and you would be squawking from now to never Mr. Ducky.
