Eager Anticipation For How To Lose Manual
That famous progressive how-to-lose guru, Bob Shrum, is coming out with a book. Some folks think that Algore and Hanoi John had a knack for losing, or possibly were born losers. Not so, Bob Shrum was there every step of their losing campaign to keep them headed for disaster.
Bob Shrum is the genius guiding hand for eight progressive liberal demoracist losing Presidential campaigns. Without Shrum those two losers (Algore, Hanoi John) probably would have been losers anyway, but, Shrum guided them to a high level few losers attain. Some political operatives claim that Shrum is the best concession speech writer ever in American politics.
Progressive liberal demoracists future candidates everywhere, from dog catcher to President, are looking forward to Shrum's "insider information" how they can become losers, like Algore/Hanoi John, also. This undoubtedly will be Shrum's political testament plus he has stated he will analyze the current direction of progressive liberal demoracists. He also said he would provide his famous losing insight on where the progressive liberal demoracists should be headed.
What if Hillary Rodham-Clinton asked Bob Shrum to consult for her 2008 campaign? That would have Republicans quaking in their cowboy boots. This could be a last try for his long time dream to be a Karl Rovesque Presidential advisor in the middle of a teapot tempest with Republicans screaming for his indictment/dismissal.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- After spending more than 30 years consulting for Democratic candidates, campaign operative Robert Shrum is using his pen to advance his own, liberal views.
"The book is about what I have seen the direction of progressive politics take, what happens to it and where I think it ought to go," Shrum told CNN in an interview.
The veteran political operative was coy about what else he would say in his book, and Washington insiders were aflutter Wednesday about whether it would include sharp critiques of his clients and colleagues from past campaigns -- particularly the failed presidential bids of Sen. John Kerry and former Vice President Al Gore.

You can tell Shrum's a real idealogue... someone so committed to the idea that he's "right", he's unable to learn from his mistakes. So he repeats them over and over and over again.
Hey, but he must talk a good game. Let's hope the book's a best seller amongst the liberal illiterati. After all, it's appearances that are important, NOT results.

I am just back from cruising through FPM. I saw only a very few names from the days of raucous debate. I wish that I could lure a few of them here, but, I ain't a-goin' beggin'.
The Ann Coulter piece response is pretty tame from the old school days. I had already read it yesterday. Her take on Joseph McCarthy is very interesting. Any favorable reference to Joe should cause the progressive liberal storm troops to drop from the skies. Not so today.
Hey, I'm not too proud to beg or do a little trolling. Who are you interested in? There are a few I'd like to see too, but I don't post @ FPM very much anymore. And the "opposition" places I have been posting recently are full of "stump-posts" and foreign Muslims posing as liberals who would just trash up the place with Bush hate rants and the most preposterous propagandized conspiracy theories imaginable.

Farmer John, I have looked at other Blogs with entry after entry showing (0) comments. I think that this Blog is doing relatively good by comparison. I believe that I would attract more interest if I would get busy building misanthropundit.com. I really admire anyone that has a substantial website. I have some very unique content to post, but, I have much to learn.
When someone new posts I always look to see if they have a Blog. If they do I go there and post. Sometimes I link to a blog if it is a blog that is "loyal" to me, or if I am impressed by the Blog. I have never suggested to anyone reciprocal links, but I am convinced it would help both Blogs.
I think right now I would appreciate you (and I) inviting likely participants if we have their e-mail address. I too am afraid that posting an invitation would bring in the riff raff. That's why I wanted the Duck here. Higher class of riff raff. I guess that puts me right back to square one. I probably have a grand total of two addresses. Poco a poco, senor, poco a poco.
samwich,
I once had a lesser of two evils voting strategy. I then adopted a "divide and conquer" strategy. But I think my voting "cynicism" has just about run its' course. Now, I only vote "FOR" candidates. And if only two-evils are on the ballot, I "write in".
Mine is not a "winning" strategy. But it does goes ME some mental comfort... in that I "do no harm".
