Big Bubba Anticipates Dismissal of DeLay Charges
Most people outside of the Great State of Texas have absolutely no grasp of how bogus Travis County District Attorney really is. Perhaps when the DeLay charges are dismissed people will start to understand. Judge Pat Priest will consider motions on 22 November 2005, including motions to dismiss filed by DeLay's attorney, Dick DeGuerin. If Judge Priest decides to allow the trial to proceed Ronnie Earle will embarrass himself right up to the day that Tom DeLay is found innocent of all charges.
This Washington, D.C. white collar criminal defense lawyer sees Ronnie Earle for exactly what he is - a vindictive partisan prosecutor,

We live in the most powerful country in the world and America is arguably at the zenith of its historical strength. Our leading journalists and newspapers, the New York Times to the contrary notwithstanding, are celebrated as models of professionalism and sophistication. Many newspapers and television networks employ journalists with law degrees or at least with some modicum of legal training. Cable television networks devote a significant portion of their programming to trials and legal issues and one such network, Court TV, is supposedly all about the law. Why is it, then, that none of these persons or entities has seriously examined the criminal charges against former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay in the light of Texas statutory and case law? To do so is to discover that the charges against DeLay will almost certainly be dismissed.

Like all of the Democrats charges, they are ridiculous on their face. If anyone has been "lied to" it has been the press by the DNC.

Sure,
They've lost all ability to exercise critical thought and have become obsessed with sensational "sound-bites". Then the fiction contained within the soundbites become truth for them through its' sheer "repetition". "Bush Lied." "Iraq was ALL about WMD's." ad naseum.

Yeah right, Farmer John is a nazi. That accusation pretty much confirms that you really are the intellectual defect that you seem to be. No wonder Alfranken's liar, liar pants on fire books have an audience with people like you stuck in playground tactics clueless of how to offer an actual intellectual argument.
mr ducky,
One day you'll actually read UN Resolution 1441 and learn the real Causus Belli for the war in Iraq.
WMD's don't scare Right Wingers. We built our shelters and lived through MAD without even blinking. It's the "peace loving" Left that is infatuatuated and obsessed with all things "nuclear" and "chemical", especially as it relates to American disarmament.
Atoms for Peace. For everyone but the greenies in America. And Nuclear Test Bans, for America only.
It must be all the chemicals you all ingested in the 60's and 70's that make you and the Lefty press so obsessed with WMDs. It makes you have flashbacks and get all delusional when they are mentioned. And those delusions keep showing up in the papers and MSM reports EVERY day.

A man who was upset with how his penis enlargement surgery turned out recently mailed a incendiary bomb made from a hobby model rocket engine to his doctor and was charged by the federal government with "use of a weapon of mass destruction."
And there's none in Iraq?
