I think the dems are planning on running against DeLay and Rove in 2006 in much the same manner as they ran against "Newt" in '96.
Not that DeLay, Rove or Newt are running. They're just "less powerful" mud-targets who won't be able to coordinate an "active" or even "reasoned" media defense (at least, not like Bush can).
