Give Me Your Attention In The Blogosphere
Today's buzz is that the Blogosphere should be abuzz with le affaire Rove. Supposedly all intrepid Blogonauts should be jumping on this story. Why do the tempests in a teacup crowd always expect everyone to jump in their turbulent little brews of gossip, innuendo and half truths? My initial thought for Big Bubba's website was to have a running commentary on White House press conference stupid questions. Whether the administration is Republican or demoracist dumb press corps questions are de rigeur. With the Rove brouhaha that idea has recurred to Big Bubba with the current surplus of really dumb questions about Karl Rove, Valerie Plame and her hubby, John C. Wilson IV. I think our heroine, Ann Coulter, has the proper perspective of disdain for this non-story. Big Bubba officially proclaims Big Bubba's Big Blog First Weekly Ann Coulter Commentary Day. I certainly recommend 
her article this week, MISSION IMPLAUSIBLE, to one and all. As usual Miss Ann is witty, observant and spot on in her commentary.
While nosing around Miss Ann's website, I gained a new found respect for the talents of this women. Please look closely at the exquisite form that she displays in this photo.
Take it from former Drill Sergeant Big Bubba the gal knows something about proper firing positions. Notice left elbow braced inside of left leg with no bone to bone (elbow to kneecap) contact, cheek to stock spot weld, and raised right elbow. Right elbow should be slightly higher, parallel to the ground, Miss Ann. Overall fine form. Big Bubba is in love. I wonder if she has a duck in her sights?
Big Bubba hopes no one gets upset over the use of Miss Ann's photos. They are not identified as copyrighted on her website. Such beauty, grace and intellect demands to be shared with the world.

This matter was discussed on my blog. Wilson has lied about everything from day one. Wilson was a Kerry man who used his wifes undue influence to get a gig. He lied about his wifes role and in the real world she would have been fired for Nepotism.

Silly boy. You do not fire an anti Bush woman from a government job just because. She's civil service, not a political appointee. Civil service employees are prevented by the Hatch Act from involving theirselves in politics. Has she? Her husband essentially was a political appointee because of the recommendations of his wife. When you stand by the mud puddle be prepared to get dirty.
Wilson, the political appointee, chose to involve himself in political opinion by criticizing President Bush and his policies. His wife was uncovered by President Bush's team trying to defend the administration against distortions of the truth by Wilson and the misinterpretation of events by the media based on those distortions. Valerie Plame cannot expect the world at large to cooperate in maintaining her cover. The world at large wants to know secret information. That is why gossip and gossip columnists are so popular. Valerie Plame should have kept hubby on a tight leash. That was her responsibility.
My Father, as I have mentioned before, held a Top Secret Crypto security clearance. He was in an Air Force intelligence unit. There are legendary stories of how quick the Air Force would react to indiscretions and inappropriate conduct of dependents. Whole families would disappear overnight from Germany, Japan and other locations and reappear in the Continental United States the next day. Sometimes daddy would be left to complete his tour. Sometimes, depending on the incident, he would be returned also. The really bad incidents would cause the service member to lose his security clearance and be "fired" from his intelligence position. These actions would be at a minimum a black mark on the service members career and in extreme cases end his career.
The blame here is Valerie Plame and her family, not the President and his team. Joe Wilson chose to don his clown suit and go to the circus. His wife suffered the consequences. That family became involved in inappropriate activities for a CIA undercover operative. Fire Valerie Plame.
If Ann bumps off Ducky, what will I do for entertainment?
Seriously though...I haven't been following this flap about Rove and the Wilsons. From the outset, I viewed it as more leftists' let's-get-that-SOB-Bush-and-find-a-way-to-impeach-him-now-that-the-2004-election-is-over crap. Sore losers!
Coulter's latest column supports my initial theory.
BTW, has that paragon of vitue Ted Kennedy weighed in yet on the Rove non-story? I try to avoid Teddy's announcements, so I don't know what words of wisdom he might have shared with the American public.

Sy Hersh's audience is limited because he is an obvious idiot about as entertaining as Texas road kill on a hot July day. He broke the My Lai story and has struggled since. Not only was the My Lai story the peak of his career, it was his career.
Ann Coulter, on the other hand, is pretty, intellectual and a master of satire. She is a sought after TV personality. She is a respected journalist. What a great asset she is to the conservative cause. Do the demoracists have anyone even slightly comparable to Ann Coulter?
I made a quick sweep through FPM. I have grown to like my own humble effort. Better to have 3 or 4 sane individuals than a herd of dumbasses. I would like to attract Cato, Coyote and perhaps a few others. I haven't seen the liberal Heathen in quite some time. He would also be a welcome addition.
Cato? I know Heathen and Coyote for sure. Heathen is a Ducky Liberal and Coyote is a conservative border patrolman here in our Valley. I noticed Mr. (dis)Unite Us. Sometimes I liked messing with him, but he can be so repetitiously stupid that he is tiring.
I haven't decided yet whether this is a "teacup tempest" or not. Still quite a bit we don't know. But if Plame was still a covert agent, simply judging by the froth on both sides, this could shape up into a roaring Rove-uccino.
Karl Rove made the casual statement that Joseph Wilson's wife (no name) works for the CIA. Everything that I have read to date indicates that wife, Valerie Plame, departed every morning for her day job at the Langley Headquarters of the Central Intelligence Agency. People who enter the gates of CIA Headquarters daily are not covert agents. She may have been a covert agent. She may be a covert agent in the future, but, as long as she is driving through the front gate of Langley, daily, she is not currently a covert agent.
I saw Joe Wilson testifying today. He clearly stated that he had made the decision to leave public service to pursue an agenda of determining the appropriateness of American military response to terrorism. I will say it again. Not a very good move if he is indeed intent on protecting his wife's identity.
The Rove affair lingers this morning. Is Big Bubba the only one to notice that ever since William Jefferson Clinton got caught with his zipper down in the oval office the demoracists have been desperate to uncover a scandal, any scandal, that they can hang on a Republican?
