Never Mind Separation of Church And State....................
..........can we do something to separate the American Civil Liberties Union and secular humanists to a place where they can find true happiness based on their
(im)moral standards and petty pseudo intellectuality? Why don't they go somewhere where they feel more at home? Some place Godless, hopeless and amoral like say Cuba or Venezuela.
My unhappy ancestors left Europe to come to America for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I simply cannot find any ancestor who came to these shores who was not a believer escaping old Europe's persecution of people of faith. They did not establish a secular humanist state. They established a great Nation founded on Judeo-Christian principles and a belief, faith and trust in the God of Israel. Our laws are a legacy of the Ten Commandments. The God of Israel, prayer, the Ten Commandments have all been part of our culture expressed as public art, in our public rituals and in the hearts of the people since the inception of this great shining city on a hill. It is that beacon that continued, through the ages, to attract people to these shores not the dim bulb of the ACLUistas and the secular humanists.
America needs to stand up and take notice of the attempted destruction of our Nation by these people. The proof is the total destruction of our institutions of higher education that have been morphed by the secular humanists into institutions of higher ignorance. Their system is a huge failure. We are churning out pretentiously ignorant graduates with limited skills of communicating in English, reading and critical thinking. How is that going to work for us? We need to organize and fight back against these people.
So, what started Big Bubba's rant? This specifically,
Scouts may lose funding
but, you do not have to look far to find much, much more.

Yeah, right. The Ten Commandments
Samwich, God forbid that a church supports a Boy Scout Troop. I was a Boy Scout in a Troop supported by my Baptist Church. The Boy Scouts and churches of America do not turn out suitable individuals for the social engineering projects of the secular humanists.
Some of my fondest memories are my Boy Scout days.
Having lived as a military dependent overseas, I am thankful that there was no ACLU howling to separate Scouts and State at THAT time, or I never would have had all the wonderful experiences growing up that I did.
And when I returned to the States, we met regularly in the school auditorium. You probably won't see that today, either. And the boys in the troop were of every religion imaginable...and we all got along.
Mr. ducky, just who is the Pentagon discriminating against? If you want to form an organization of Lib-Ducklings, I'm sure you can make arrangements to meet on "State" lands. If you ban the Boy Scouts from military bases, you ought to ban all religious people from courthouses. It makes just about the same amount of sense.

I guess since the Scouts had sworn an oath and duty to G_d, and so got banned from Fort A.P. Hill, they'll soon have to keep all similar "oath swearer's" off military bases... especially those who swore either of the following:
"I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God." (Title 10, US Code; Act of 5 May 1960 replacing the wording first adopted in 1789, with amendment effective 5 October 1962).
"I, _____ (SSAN), having been appointed an officer in the Army of the United States, as indicated above in the grade of _____ do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservations or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office upon which I am about to enter; So help me God." (DA Form 71, 1 August 1959, for officers.)"

I was thrilled, after leaving the Army six years earlier, to hold up my hand, once again, and swear my allegiance to the object of my affection The Constitution of the United States. The greatest thrill of my life was being a servant of our country in uniform and as a civil servant.
United States Code, Title 5, Section 3331, states: "An individual, except the President, elected or
appointed to an office of honor or profit in the civil service or uniformed services, shall take the following oath: `I (name), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.' This section does not affect other oaths required by law."
Never mind oaths and such. When will the crazies, libtards and other assorted haters go after military installations like Camp A. P. Hill named after the famous Confederate General Ambrose Powell “Little Powell” Hill? On their death beds both Lee and Jackson, in their delirium, called for A.P. Hill to “bring up his troops.” General Hill awaited them on Fiddler’s Green. He said that he had no desire to see the collapse of the Confederacy. Lieutenant General A.P. Hill was killed by a Union soldier as he rode to the front of the Petersburg lines on April 2, 1865.
Don't worry BB, they'll soon enough find some "common soldier" in a "recent war" and propose a re-naming ceremony. It is the bane of democracy that eventually the citizens illegally "try" the admirals of Arginusae and put them all to death.

People don't remember, or even know, that the reason all of these military installations was named for Confederate Generals was the suspicion that Southerners may not fight for their country in WWI or WWII. We will fight anybody, that's our heritage. Don't disrespect our heritage. Now that our loyalty is taken for granted the progressive liberal pseudo intellectual demoracists are ready to try their luck.
When my Cousin Mary Hardy married General MacArthur her brothers, Confederate Soldiers all, refused to attend the wedding at "Riveredge." That was only ten years after the War Between the States so it was not so surprising. Almost one hundred years later the older women of my family still pronounced damnyankee like one word. The concept that my heritage can be disrespected with impunity by modern intellectual dimbulbs makes me want to reexamine the motives of my ancestors.
It's hard to take an article with the title "ACLU And It’s Obsession With The Boy Scouts" seriously when it uses the wrong form of "its" in the title.
