Big Bubba Points Out The Obvious
'Party trumps race' for Steele foes

Black Democratic leaders in Maryland say that racially tinged attacks against Lt. Gov. Michael S. Steele in his bid for the U.S. Senate are fair because he is a conservative Republican. Such attacks against the first black man to win a statewide election in Maryland include pelting him with Oreo cookies during a campaign appearance, calling him an "Uncle Tom" and depicting him as a black-faced minstrel on a liberal Web log. Operatives for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) also obtained a copy of his credit report -- the only Republican candidate so targeted. But black Democrats say there is nothing wrong with "pointing out the obvious."
What is obvious to Big Bubba is that the pseudo intellectual progressive liberal demoracists believe that there are no moral constraints to their misuse of race as an issue. One may only imagine the upheaval that would occur if Black Republicans did similar things to Senator Barack Obama, D-Il. These people are despicable because of their intellectual dishonesty.

It's my understanding, that for the first time in their party's history, the "establishment democrats" (read white racists) have decided that they simply MUST have some blacks "headlining" the ticket for major offices in the state of Maryland, like "governor". (Evidently blacks represent 35-40% of the population). The Maryland GOP shamed them by getting Steele (R) elected as the first black to high state office.
And so Baltimore City's democratic mayor is scrambling to find a suitable black running mate for Lt. Governor and his run, yet the ex-Congressman and ex-head of NAACP, Kweisi Mfume, has already been completely dismissed as a viable (yet already announced) candidate to run AGAINST Steele, so that another prominant white Democrat can have the Senate seat.
And so, of course, the black establishment in Maryland is having a kaniption (sic), for they're being told yet again by the DNC... "You're #2".
The GOP in the state has already run both a black and an Hispanic woman against the Mikulski/ Sarbanes Senate monopoloy.
