Supreme Court Pick Pandemonium
Today President Bush told the nation that he was nominating Judge Samuel Alito to the Supreme Court. I have just found out that the demoracist's have labeled him "Scalito." I have never been able to fully comprehend how the demoracists are able to insult and humiliate their base and get away with it. Tanked Ted has said that there are "serious concerns" about Judge Alito's qualifications. Tanked Ted said things are serious yet the demoracists flippantly label Judge Alito "Scalito."
Am I the only one to notice that serious drunks, like Tanked Ted, think everything is serious? Is he simply a drama queen or is everything serious viewed through the bottom of a glass? Tanked Ted made his remark in response to Republicans enlightening the press this morning with numerous quotes of demoracist Senators who thought Judge Alito was a warm, wonderful human being, and a terrific jurist, the last time they voted for his confirmation. We are about to witness flip flopping the likes of which have not been seen since the last fishing fleet unloaded at the docks.
The demoracists are just besides theirselves on this one,
".....too radical for the American people." _ Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev.
"..........likely to divide America." --Charles Schumer, D-NY
"You [Alito] Have Obviously Had A Very Distinguished Record, And I Certainly Commend You For Long Service In The Public Interest. I Think It Is A Very Commendable Career And I Am Sure You Will Have A Successful One As A Judge." --Sen. Ted Kennedy, D-MA (4/5/90)
"Rather Than Selecting A Nominee For The Good Of The Nation And The Court, President Bush Has Picked A Nominee Whom He Hopes Will Stop The Massive Hemorrhaging Of Support On His Right Wing. This Is A Nomination Based On Weakness, Not On Strength." --Sen. Ted Kennedy, D-MA (10/31/05)

Let the battles begin. With any luck, Bush will get a few more SCOTUS picks after this one. And if McCain and his "moderate" ilk bail "on the party" on this, they'll be "history". Conservatives would rather vote for Ralph Nader, than an "appeaser" like McCain. Wimpy accomodationist Republicans explain why Perot got 20% in the 90's.

Rub it in, Duck, some folks have all the luck. You guys in Massachusetts have that wonderful Boston Symphony AND Hanoi John, Tanked Teddy, Tanker Dukakis, Barney Frank.
I guess that I will just have to stay in Texas and amuse myself with Conjunto music and a remarkable lack of weird politicians.
Farmer, I do not believe that John McCain stands a chance of a snowball in Hades in 2008. Right now I remain a fan of Senator John Allen, R-VA.
Despite being the son of the Hall of Famer Redskins Coach George Allen Big Bubba's Big Prediction is that Texans will go for Senator Allen in a big way. Insider tip: Look for unhinged demoracists to accuse Senator Allen of insensitivity for being born to someone who demeaned Native Americans everywhere by the use of the word "Redskin."
I guess I don't know enough about John Allen to support his candidacy directly, but at this point, his name towers high above the names of those put forth by the members of the media pundocracy to date, at least in my mind. What do you think of Sam Brownback and/or Tom Tancredo?

Farmer John, I prefer Allen over either Tancredo or Brownback.
Mr. Ducky, who's it going to be? Hillary or Hanoi John? Better consider lining up for the bird brain flu vaccine.
