More That's Incredible From California
Last night I caught an interview on TV with a girl named Dylan Pardo. I am not sure of some of the details of this story, nor do I have a link for you. You are going to have to work for this one. If you Google "Dylan Pardo" you will see what I mean. She is a teenager and probably still in school. She had been taken to a party by a boy who dropped a drug in her drink without her knowing it. The drug knocked her out and the boy raped her.
Again, I am not sure, don't remember, the details, but it seems the girl, her family, and supporters believe that the boy did not receive deserved punishment. Why? Because the charge of rape could not be prosecuted because she did not say no. Never mind that she couldn't say no because she was drugged and passed out. She didn't say no so the boy received a hand slap.
The girl bravely showed her face and told her story on national TV. There is a bill before the California to correct the problem of drugged females not being to say no so that rapists would know to stop. One of the TV commentators observed that it was necessary for California to pass a law that it wasn't OK to have sex with corpses because the previous law did not make it clear that sex with corpses was illegal. What really had Dylan Pardo, and her supporters upset was the fact that two California female legislators were taunting her and making fun of the situation.
I couldn't make this stuff up folks.

Well then, its obvious that in California, you cannot be prosecuted for raping a mute, a coma patient or someone that has been gagged.
God help us all!
I doubt the Bible has any words on drugging and raping women either, but somehow I doubt that THAT is a deficiency.
It's a shame that we've come to the point that we have to make everything in our secular society "mindless-twit" proof (to borrow a phrase).

Here is the link
for the story in the Bakersfield Californian. The reason I didn't post it yesterday is because you have to register to read the story. Don't you just "hate" that? I know I do when a link goes to somewhere you have to register. Oh well.
The story has some of the details different from what I wrote. For example it the Californian said that Dylan got drunk and passed out. She said her drink had been drugged. Dylan does admit that she made a mistake allowing herself to be picked up in a mall and going to a party with a boy. She did not come across in her interview as "loose."
She was a brave little girl to give up her anonymity to campaign for a cause. If she was indeed a loose, bad little girl I think she would have chosen to remain anonymous and not take up a cause.
This is an attrocity in the legal system. A woman who is drugged does not have the ability to consent. This is not a defect in the but a serious violation of decency.
Heard her today on Hannity's program. The same guy also druged and raped a 12 year old.
The court ordered him to pay her $10 a week for at year. He hasn't even did that.
Warren, he committed the offense on the twelve year old after raping Dylan and before judgement in the case.
Another CA event which defies logic and decency. Is THIS what our society has come to? Surreal, to say the least.
Big Bubba,
It this case I guess we will have to use judgment as a noun instead of the verb.
Perhaps it should be preceded by, (lack of)!
Hi Bubba the Dylon Pardo story is back on Fox, no where else that I can tell as one of the very few sources I found on the web I linked to here.
I google my name alot, just to see whats being said about me and I came across your page and I just wanted to thank you for sticking up for me. By the way I'm not sure if you know but my law passed.. SB 1626, "Dylans Law"
Thank you,
Dylan Pardo
